Period Poverty
Period Poverty has been a deep lying issue in Kenya for generations. 65% of women cannot afford sanitary pads. An astonishing 10% of 15-year-old girls are involved in commercial sex in exchange for sanitary products due to the prevalence of period poverty and the shame, stigma and public health miss information which surround menstruation.

Drought
Kenya being the first African country that Marafiki Relief Aid Africa tackled, And as part of its aim to confront drought and look for long term solutions was able to reach in some areas in the coast, Kilifi county. Kilifi County is characterized by high poverty estimated at 71.7% and widespread food and water insecurity affecting approximately 67% of the households.

Emergency Reliefs
Emergency food distribution is geared to helping those impacted by the inevitable drought, we had 339 bags which was able to reach 600 families in Bamba village.

Mosque Appeals
Building a masjid is one of the most noble causes in the Islamic faith with a promise of a continuous reward. Every community needs a masjid where the local Muslims can worship their creator and can send their children o become educated on how to correctly practice their faith.

Orphans
Marafiki Relief Aid Africa’s unique and comprehensive orphan sponsorship programme offers vulnerable children a way out of neglect and abuse. It allows them to escape hunger, poor living conditions and an upbringing with no education
